Keen for some fun by the water? There will be plenty to see and do with our Beach and Beyond activities on the waterfront and along Pier Promenade. Don’t forget to pack your bathers, sunscreen, hat and towel!

Beach activities and community stands will run over the weekend between 12pm-6pm. Keep reading below to find out more. 

Melbourne Stars Beach Activation

Head to the pier and surrounding beach area between 12 and 6pm each day of the festival to join in the fun of the Melbourne Stars community program. Try your hand at the Melbourne Stars bowling tunnel and Cricket Blast activation; get your camera ready for photos with a special visit by Starman and don't forget to chat to the team to learn more about the Melbourne Stars upcoming matches and memberships!

Visit the team from Frankston Dolphins Junior Football Club to test your footy skills on the beach. Lots of free and fun games and giveaways for the whole family will be running from 12 to 6pm on festival Saturday.

Ever wanted to have a go at sailing or stand-up paddle boarding? Well now is your chance!  
Visit the Frankston Yacht Club out the front of their building for this fun activity.

If you’re looking for a volunteering opportunity that will make an impact in a young person’s life, are keen to improve road safety, and have 2 hours a week to spare, the L2P program is for you!

Come and visit the L2P team from 12 – 6pm on Saturday, or 12 – 5pm on Sunday. See one of our three vehicles and hear how you could become a mentor to assist 16 to 21 year olds who don’t have access to a supervising driver or vehicle, to obtain the 120 hours of driving needed for their probationary licence.

Take a break with Frankston City Libraries! Find them on the Pier Promenade, where you can set yourself up with a book or audiobook and take a rest on a deck chair. Find out all the latest that is happening at your local library, check out the beach library collection, become a member on the spot or join the What’s On email and be in the draw to win some great prizes! Come and visit our friendly team at Australian Red Cross on the Pier Promenade who will be providing community information for disaster preparedness, recovery and information for the community.
